Jardine has four new songs that he hopes to release soon.
“One is a beautiful song about a soldier going off to war. Neil Young is singing on it with me. He’s the soldier. I want to get it out pretty soon before we go to war. Then there’s another song called ‘Islands in the Sun,’ which is my follow up to ‘Kokomo.’ I invited Mike to be on it several times, and neither time did he show any interest. I came up with a hell of a song. It’s all about drifting among the islands and the Caribbean and losing oneself. I’ve got Bruce (Johnston) and my son Matt and I singing the Beach Boys’ harmonies. It sounds just like the real thing."

Weiß man jetzt eigentlich schon etwas wegen Tour? AL sagte ja mal, dass die Brian Wilson Band 2025 eine Tour machen könnte (ohne Brian)… ähnlich wie „The Neal Young Band without Neil Young“

Das ist hörenswert und hält den Beach Boys/Brian Wilson Katalog am Leben; im Gegensatz zur anderen Truppe.

Wäre schönn, wenn was längerfristiges daraus werden könnte. Wenn sie nach Europa kämen (da fehlt einfach ohne Brian die Nachfrage), würde ich mir sie sicher anschauen.
Die Stimme von DARIAN SAHANAJA ist wirklich klasse.
Wer ist denn die Dame am keyboard, wie steht sie zu BW bzw. der Band?

Man hört, das Bruce bei "Do you wonna dance" bei den hohen Tönen schon seine Probleme hat, aber das haben andere schon mit 40 . Er ist 84! Stimmung machen und Einklatschen kann er noch immer. Ist doch wirklich nett, Al, Bruce, David Lee, Blondie Chaplin und Dean Torrance zusammen zu sehen, oder nicht? Rührt mich schon ein bisschen!
